Membership Categories and Annual Fees

The membership of the Society is open to all pharmaceutical sciences related
lecturer/researchers/students locally and internationally over the age of 18 years old.

New application for MSPT membership requires an additional RM 10 (USD 2) for registration purpose.

 Ordinary Member

Professionals who have Malaysian citizen and graduated with:

i. a degree or higher degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences OR

ii. other degrees and engaged in full-time teaching and/or research work in related areas in a university or a research institute OR

iii. other degrees and working full time in pharmaceutical industry

  Student Member

Students who are studying pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences  or related subjects for a degree or equivalent qualification. Student status must be verified by the university, dean or discipline chairperson.

 Life Member

Professionals who are an Ordinary Member can apply for Life Membership with payment of RM 500.

International Affiliate Member

International lecturers/researchers/students who are in the Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences field.

 Honorary Member

Eminent pharmaceutical technologists who have made outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical technology. Honorary Members are only elected by majority vote by a postal ballot.
